Goat Funded Futures Review 2026: Six Plans, Daily Payouts & the Reputation Question

Goat rebuilt its lineup in 2026 — six one-time-fee plans from a $69 EOD challenge to a 24-hour Daily Payouts account — while its reputation took a real hit. Here's every plan, the rules that bite, and what changed.
This review used to be a love letter to Goat's PRO plan. That plan no longer exists — Goat retired both PRO and Sprint in 2026 and rebuilt the entire lineup around six new products. Some of what replaced them is genuinely good (a $69 EOD challenge, a true 24-hour payout account), and some of it needs reading carefully. The firm's reputation also took a hit this year, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. Here's the honest, current picture.
Quick background: Goat Funded Futures launched in 2024, runs every plan as a one-time fee with $0 activation, requires a $500 minimum payout everywhere, and takes a 3% processing fee on payouts. What changed in 2026
The old four-plan menu (PRO, EOD Evaluation, Sprint, Instant) became six plans: EOD Challenge, 1-Day-Pass, Flex, Daily Payouts, Instant Classic, and Instant Lite. The biggest practical shift: the flat 90/10 that PRO offered by default is now either a paid add-on (+20% of the challenge price) on the evaluation plans, or included only on Daily Payouts and the Instant accounts. Read which split applies to which plan before you assume.
The six plans
- EOD Challenge — 50K/100K/150K at $69/$132/$185. EOD trailing drawdown that locks at your starting balance, no daily loss limit during the evaluation (a 2.5% soft limit once funded), 50% consistency on the eval and 30% once funded, payouts every 7 winning days. The cheapest credible seat on the board.
- 1-Day-Pass — 25K/50K/100K at $79/$109/$179. No consistency rule on the evaluation, a soft-pause daily loss limit in both phases, 35% consistency once funded, payouts every 5 winning days.
- Flex — 50K/100K/150K at $109/$169/$309. The closest thing to the old PRO: EOD both phases, no daily loss limit anywhere, no consistency rule once funded, payouts every 5 winning days. Default 80/20; add 20% to the price for 90/10.
- Daily Payouts — 25K to 150K at $89/$119/$189/$269. Request a payout every 24 hours once funded with no winning-day requirement, 90/10 included, no funded consistency rule. The catch: the funded account runs intraday trailing drawdown, and the daily loss limit is a soft breach that closes the account on the third hit inside 30 days.
- Instant Classic — 25K to 150K at $192/$277/$489/$624. Funded from day one, intraday trailing, a 3% soft daily limit, a 20% consistency rule, and 100% of your first $10K then 90/10. No resets — a breach means a new purchase.
- Instant Lite — 25K/50K/100K at $182/$229/$369. No profit target to pass; you trade toward a payout target on EOD drawdown that locks at start + $100, with a 5% daily profit cap and a consistency threshold that widens from 15% to 25% as you complete payouts.
The rules that bite
Two things trip people up. First, the drawdown engine changes by plan: EOD Challenge, 1-Day-Pass, Flex and Instant Lite are end-of-day; Daily Payouts and Instant Classic trail intraday once funded, which can stop you out on a wick during an otherwise green day. Second, short-trade rules: profit from trades closed inside 2 minutes (60 seconds on Daily Payouts) can be deducted, and tick scalping is prohibited on every plan. If you scalp, this is not your firm.
Payouts
Minimum $500 across the board, with a 3% processing fee. The evaluation plans pay on winning-day cycles inside two request windows a month (the 5th–8th and 20th–23rd), with caps that rise as you bank payouts — a 50K EOD account starts at a $1,500 cap and reaches $2,750 by the fourth. Daily Payouts is the exception: no windows, no winning-day count, just a 24-hour cycle above your buffer.
The reputation question
I'd be doing you a disservice to skip this. Goat's Trustpilot rating sits around 2.8 out of 5, and in July 2026 a major aggregator de-listed the firm citing retroactive enforcement of the 2-minute rule (profits removed after the fact) and long activation delays. Rules have also changed more than once this year. None of that makes the plans above fake — the specs are verified against Goat's own help center — but it does mean you should trade Goat with your eyes open, keep screenshots of the rules you bought under, and treat the short-trade rules as strict. I've moved it down my rankings for that reason.
So who's it for?
If you want the cheapest EOD challenge on the market — EOD Challenge. If you want the most freedom once funded and are willing to buy the 90/10 add-on — Flex. If daily withdrawals matter more than a forgiving drawdown — Daily Payouts, knowing the intraday rule. If you'd rather skip the eval — Instant Classic or Lite. Line Goat up in the comparison against firms with cleaner reputations before you buy; the price is real, but so are the caveats.

Flat before the session close (auto-closed 3:55 PM CT), no weekend holds; funded accounts and Daily Payouts can't open, close or trigger orders 2 minutes before to 2 minutes after high-impact news.
