Best Futures Prop Firms 2026: Our Top 10 Ranked by Price, Rules and Payouts

PickMyFuturesProp · 2026-09-26

The best futures prop firms in 2026, ranked from verified rules: what each costs at 50K with the best code, how the drawdown works, how fast it pays, and the catch to know before you buy.

Most "best prop firm" lists are a pile of affiliate links with adjectives attached. This one is built from published rules. Every price, drawdown type, split and payout rule below comes from the same verified data that powers the comparison tool, checked against each firm's own site in September 2026. How we rank prop firms explains the method, including how this site earns money.

The honest short answer: there is no single best futures prop firm, but there is a best firm for the way you trade. Here are our top 10, then the best picks by trading style.

How to read the prices

Every price is for the $50K account with the best verified code applied. One-time means you pay once for the evaluation. /mo means a monthly subscription that renews until you pass. If a firm charges an activation fee when you pass, it's listed, because that is part of what getting funded really costs.

1. Futures Elite — the cheapest true 90% split with EOD drawdown

Futures Elite's Elite plan is about $107 one-time with code Pick (list $153) for a 50K with end-of-day trailing drawdown, a 90% split and no activation fee. No Futures Elite account has a daily loss limit, and stacking accounts raises the discount (the 5th account in a bundle is free).

The catch: Elite payouts come every 7 days, which is slower than the daily-payout firms (Futures Elite's newer Nitro account pays daily, at $106.40 for the 50K), each payout is capped by size ($2,000 on the 50K Elite), the evaluation has a 50% consistency rule, and scalping is disabled. 2. My Funded Futures — the best lineup for daily payouts

MFFU sells four one-time plans, all with $0 activation, and code Pick takes 40% off any of them. Rapid ($125) pays daily once you're above the buffer ($500 minimum) at 90/10 with no daily loss limit. Rapid EOD ($125, 25K and 50K only) keeps end-of-day drawdown in both phases. Builder ($92) is the easiest entry: a one-day pass and payouts every 48 hours at 80/20. Pro ($159) has the highest ceiling at up to $100,000 per user, with payouts unlocking 14 days after your first funded trade.

The catch: Rapid switches to intraday trailing drawdown once funded, and there are no resets. My Funded Futures review

3. Tradeify — the best all-rounder, with EOD drawdown on every plan

Every Tradeify plan uses end-of-day trailing drawdown, a one-time fee, $0 activation and a 90/10 split. Growth is $87 with code BREEZY (list $145) and has no evaluation consistency rule, so one good day can pass it. Select ($99) adds a 40% evaluation consistency rule, then lets you choose a Daily or a Flex payout path once funded. Lightning ($295) skips the evaluation.

The catch: Growth carries a $1,250 daily loss limit on the 50K and a 35% consistency rule once funded, with payouts every 5 days. Tradeify review

4. Take Profit Trader — daily payouts and a path to 90/10

Take Profit Trader is a one-step, monthly-subscription firm. The 50K Test lists at $170 a month, and the public code NOFEE40 takes 40% off and removes the activation fee. The Test uses end-of-day trailing drawdown, a 50% consistency rule and a 5-day minimum, with no daily loss limit. Once funded, PRO pays daily above the buffer at 80/20, and PRO+ moves you to 90/10 and back to EOD drawdown.

The catch: the funded PRO account switches to intraday trailing drawdown. Take Profit Trader review

5. Lucid Trading — the fastest way through with EOD rules

Lucid Pro is $129.50 with code VAULT (list $185): end-of-day drawdown, no evaluation consistency rule so you can pass in 1 day, a $1,200 daily loss limit, a 40% consistency rule once funded, and payouts every 3 days. Lucid Flex ($98) drops the daily loss limit entirely and has no funded consistency rule, in exchange for a 50% evaluation rule and 5 days between payouts. Every plan is 90/10 with free activation.

The catch: Lucid's LucidScale rule turns the daily loss limit into 60% of your peak end-of-day balance once you're above your initial trailing threshold. Lucid Trading review

6. FundedNext Futures — no consistency rule at any stage

Rapid Daily is $159.99 (list $299.98): pass in 1 day, no consistency rule in the challenge or the funded account, and daily rewards from eligibility with no benchmark days, at a 90% reward share. FundedNext says 99.99% of rewards are processed within 24 hours. Rapid Pro costs the same with no daily loss limit and rewards every 3 days. Flex ($69.99) is the cheapest entry, with a 95% share and a lower $2,500 target. Everything is one-time, $0 activation and end-of-day drawdown. Code REFGNRBSE at checkout.

The catch: Rapid Daily has a soft $1,000 daily loss limit, and Flex's drawdown is a tight $1,500. FundedNext Futures review

7. Apex Trader Funding — the biggest firm, with strict funded rules

Apex sells one-time evaluations with 30 days of access, no rebill and no resets, and the public code SAVENOW runs up to 90% off. The EOD Trail 50K is $59 plus a $90 activation, or $119 with no activation fee. Intraday Trail is $24.90 plus $59, or $79.90 with no activation fee. Funded accounts pay a 100% split every 5 trading days ($500 minimum), and you can run up to 20 accounts.

The catch: funded accounts have a 50% consistency rule, per-request caps of $1,500 to $2,750, and a limit of 6 payout requests per account. Apex Trader Funding review

8. FTMO Futures — one of the biggest names in prop trading, now in beta

FTMO launched futures in September 2026. Growth is $119 a month with end-of-day drawdown that locks at your starting balance, no daily loss limit, a 40% evaluation consistency rule, no activation fee and a 90/10 split. Funded payouts open after 4 qualifying days of $150 or more and are capped at $2,500 per request on the 50K. Pro ($139 a month) trades a wider drawdown for a hard daily loss limit.

The catch: it's a beta, so the rules can still change, and there's no discount code. FTMO Futures review

9. Funded Futures Family — no daily loss limit anywhere

FFF's Prime plan is $179 a month: end-of-day drawdown in both phases, no evaluation consistency rule (pass in 1 day), no daily loss limit at any stage, no activation fee and 90/10 from the first dollar. Funded payouts come every 3 trading days under a 40% consistency rule that resets after each approved payout. Public code FFF.

The catch: it's monthly, total payouts are capped at $100,000 per user, and bots and copy trading are banned. Funded Futures Family review

10. Topstep — the original, now with a 55% rule

Topstep's Trading Combine is $49 a month plus a $149 activation fee, or $95 a month with no activation fee. It has one core rule, an end-of-day trailing loss limit that locks at your starting balance, plus a 55% best-day consistency target (a 2-day minimum). Funded payouts need 5 winning days of $150 or more, each request is limited to 50% of your balance and capped at $2,000 on the 50K, and Live Funded payouts are uncapped.

The catch: the monthly bill plus the activation fee, and there's no public code. Topstep review · Topstep alternatives

Firms we list but don't feature

Goat Funded Futures and Alpha Futures are both in the comparison tool, but we rank them lower. Goat's Trustpilot rating is about 2.8, and it was de-listed by DamnPropFirms in July 2026 over retroactive rule enforcement. Alpha voided pending Premium payouts during its July 2026 dispute with NinjaTrader. Both still operate; go in with your eyes open.
